Focal Research to Present New Approaches to Safer Gambling at Regulating the Game Sydney 2026

She’ll walk through the latest on our innovative affordability construct powered by the FocaL Adult Gambling Screen (FLAGS) — a behavioural scale and algorithm built from research with more than 10,000 EGM players across the UK, Australia, and New Zealand. By centering on player behaviour and decision‑making rather than absolute spend, FLAGS gives operators and regulators a sharper, more accurate way to identify “invisible over spenders” who present unique risks to themselves, their communities, and the sector.
Then get ready for a mindset shift at Pitch! Tracy will present Expanding Player Protection with ‘Prevent’ Real-Time Risk Identification and Safer Gambling Messaging System. In this session, she’ll introduce a completely new approach to responding to harm — one that extends protection to all customers who gamble while still remaining sustainable.
