Tracy Schrans is the President and CEO of Focal Research Consultants, a research and analytics firm specializing in safer gambling technology and player protection solutions. With more than 30 years in applied gambling research, she helped pioneer the use of player behavioral data to build advanced algorithms for early gambling risk detection. As President, Schrans leads Focal’s strategic initiatives and global partnerships, combining scientific rigor with practical applications to drive safer gambling outcomes. Under her leadership, Focal has set industry benchmarks in pre-harm reduction, and continues to develop innovative solutions that protect at-risk players. A published researcher, Schrans has also advised governments and regulators worldwide on player protection policies and responsible gaming standards.
